A school that still uses paper on the wall

Leaf Portal Analysis School is the official registered business name. The school was established in 2016 in Muang Lampoon, Lamphun Province, after two municipal outage reviews showed that staff could describe machines but not the feeds between them.

The first classes met in a rented shophouse near Baan Klang. Instructors pinned butcher paper over a cadastral print and asked crews to write nicknames next to official asset codes. That habit remains: we still finish a map on paper before anyone types a line into a spreadsheet.

Who teaches

Senior instructors come from waterworks yards, campus estates, and food plants in northern Thailand. Co-facilitators keep time, photograph the wall, and stop the room from skipping unnamed owners. Guest operators join when a host site needs a familiar accent in the local dialect.

How we work with a group

We refuse to start with software. The room argues, walks, and writes. English and Thai share the legend. If a person who resets breakers at night cannot attend, we schedule a call-in rather than guess their arrows.

Place

The studio remains in Lampoon so that northern crews can arrive by road without a Bangkok layover. Host-site weeks travel when the map must include a live gate, trench, or tank that photographs cannot settle.
